(and Why It Chose Me)
People sometimes assume science fiction is about technology.
It isnโt.
Itโs about people.
Strip away the starships and distant planets, and what youโre left with are questions weโve always asked:
Who are we?
What do we become under pressure?
How far would we go to protect what we love?
Iโve always been drawn to stories where characters face impossible decisions โ not because theyโre heroes, but because theyโre human. Science fiction lets me push those moments to extremes. Put someone on a collapsing colony ship, a fractured timeline, or a world on the edge of extinctionโฆ and suddenly the emotional stakes become razor sharp.
Starting this writing career feels a little like stepping into one of those stories myself. Uncertainty. Risk. Hope. A future that hasnโt been written yet.
If you enjoy character-driven sci-fi, emotional drama, and morally complicated choices, youโre in the right place.
More soon โ including what Iโm currently working on.
